The study looked at the relationship between students’ self-perception and their academic achievement in a contemporary society. In both social and humanistic psychology, the phrase "self-concept' is crucial. The self-concept of a person is a driving factor behind his actions. The foundation of our lives is our self-concept. In general, self-concept refers to a person's understanding of self-esteem, self-image, self-efficacy, and self-awareness, or to what they know about themselves. Self-esteem, body image, role performance, and personal identity were all examined as part of the self-concept. Many researchers have looked at the link between self-concept and academic success, according to a survey of scientific and theoretical literature. The current project has three primary goals. To begin, examine academic accomplishment as well as self-concept. Second, investigate the components of self-concept, and last, determine the dimensions of self-concept. Teachers, parents, and indeed all stakeholders have a responsibility to examine these student self-concept constructions since they affect the formation of positive self-concept among children when dealing or engaging with them, according to the conclusion.
