This paper therefore sought to investigate the relationship between insecurity and government delivery of educational services in Cross River State, Nigeria. The study was directed by  a single hypothesis, derived from one research objective and question respectively. The study was anchored on the social contract theory of Thomas Hobbes. Data were collected through two questionnaires titled security threats Questionnaire (STQ) and Government Provision of Educational Service Questionnaire (GPESQ). The hypothesis was subjected to statistical test at 0.05 level of significance, and analysed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis. The Result indicated that there is a significant negative relationship between insecurity and government provision of educational services in Cross River State.
