The study examined the Influence of Migration on Socio-economic wellbeing of public primary school teachers in Ogoja education zone, Cross River State, Nigeria. To achieve the purpose of the study, one research question was formulated which was converted lo statement of hypothesis, to guide the study. Literature review was carried out based on the variable under study. Survey research design was considered most suitable for the study. Stratified random sampling technique was adopted in selecting the 460 respondents sampled for the study. A validated 25 items four point modified Likert scale questionnaire was the instrument used for data collection. The face and content validity of the instrument was established. The reliability estimates of the instrument ranged from 79-81, of it was established using Cronbach Alpha method. To test the hypothesis formulated for the study simple Linear regression statistical tool were used. The hypothesis was tested at .05 level of significance. The results obtained from analysis of data revealed that there significant influence of migration on the socio-economic wellbeing public primary School Teachers of the area of the study. Based on the finding of the study it was therefore recommended that efforts should be made by governments to provide functional social amenities such as electricity and pipe borne water to bridge the development gap between the urban and rural areas of the country so as to limit the rate of migration.
