Abstract

This paper deals with the content of environmental adult education curriculum as a guide to the adult populace and environmental users. The need arises from its importance to protect the environment from damage as a result of man's unsustainable activities. Therefore, providing relevant information or guidelines on the protection and management of the environment through the curriculum content becomes obvious. These information will help in addressing environmental problems that would help the adult learners acquire the desired skills, attitude, knowledge toward environmental sustainability. Thus, the paper will look at issues in the curriculum content such as environmental policies or laws, public health practices, management of natural resources, population growth and it consequencies, sustainable farming practices, waste management practices and others. It will explore the definition of key concepts and will come up with recommendation and a conclusion.
