Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to promote the employability of geography graduates in Nigeria. The objective is to enhance the functionality of geography education at the tertiary level through the incorporation of entrepreneurship education. This is achieved by examining the relevance of geography education and the role of entrepreneurship education in geography in promoting employment in Nigeria. The paper contends that the incorporation of entrepreneurship development in geography at the tertiary education level would enhance the relevance of geography education and promote the employability of geography graduates in Nigeria.
