PRINCIPAL’S COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND MANAGEMENT OF STUDENTS’ FEEDBACK IN PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN CALABAR EDUCATION ZONE OF CROSS RIVER STATE, NIGERIA

The study investigated principals‟ communication skills and management of students‟ feedback in Calabar Education Zone of Cross River State. To guide the study, three research questions and corresponding hypotheses were developed. A review of the relevant literature focused on the sub variables of the study. A correlation research design was employed. The study's population consisted of 89 principals from the Calabar Education Zone. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire titled "Principals' Communication Skills and Management of Students' Feedback Questionnaire (PCSMSFQ)." The data analysis involved Pearson product-moment correlation, with significance levels ranging from .72 to .82. Based on the findings, it was concluded that principals' communication skills specifically in writing, speaking, and listening are significantly associated with the management of student feedback in the Calabar Education Zone of Cross River State
