Publication Ethics
Education for Today is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and adheres to the ethical guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers are expected to comply with these ethical standards to ensure the integrity and quality of the journal.
For Authors
- Originality and Plagiarism: All submissions must be original, and any use of others’ work must be properly cited. Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, is unacceptable.
- Authorship: Authorship must be limited to those who have significantly contributed to the research. All contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged appropriately.
- Data Integrity: Authors are responsible for ensuring that all data in their manuscript is accurate, reliable, and free from manipulation or fabrication.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence the findings or interpretation of their manuscript.
- Multiple Submissions: Submissions must not be under consideration or published elsewhere.
For Editors
- Fair and Impartial Review: Editors must ensure that every manuscript is evaluated impartially based on academic merit, without discrimination.
- Confidentiality: Editors must treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and not disclose any details to unauthorized individuals.
- Conflict of Interest: Editors must avoid processing manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.
- Ethical Oversight: Editors are responsible for ensuring adherence to ethical standards and addressing any ethical concerns or misconduct.
For Reviewers
- Objectivity: Reviews must be conducted objectively, with constructive feedback provided to authors. Personal criticism is inappropriate.
- Confidentiality: Manuscripts must be treated as confidential documents. Reviewers should not discuss or use the manuscript's content for personal benefit.
- Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves if necessary.
- Timeliness: Reviews should be completed within the agreed-upon timeframe to ensure timely publication.
For Publishers
The publisher is responsible for safeguarding ethical practices throughout the publication process. Any allegations of misconduct will be investigated in accordance with COPE guidelines, and corrective actions such as corrections, retractions, or banning authors may be taken when necessary.

This journal strictly follows the ethical standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). COPE provides resources and guidance for all parties involved in the publication process to ensure ethical behavior and resolve ethical issues effectively.
