Abstract

Despite the global emphasis on inclusivity in educational practice, this paper posits that the different categories of learners in the inclusive class environment require special attention so as to achieve maximum productivity. It is therefore submitted that artificial intelligence can be a viable and innovative instructional pedagogy that can maximize the potentials of the 21st century gifted and talented children. The concepts of artificial intelligence, gifted and talented learners, their characteristics and types are x-rayed. Also discussed are their identification methods, support resources/programs, instructional strategies, challenges and the roles of parents, and educators in fostering the future of these precious gifts of the 21st century.
