THE IMPACT OF E-LEARNING GADGETS AMONG SS THREE STUDENTS IN GOVERNMENT IN CALABAR METROPOLIS OF CROSS RIVER STATE, NIGERIA

The study to investigated the impact of e-learning gadgets and students’ academic achievement of Senior Secondary three (SS3) in Government in Calabar Metropolis of Cross River State, Nigeria. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study, 400 students randomly selected from 20 government schools in the study area. The instrument used to collected data was a 20-item questionnaire tagged the impacts of e-learning gadgets and students’ academic achievement generated to answer the research questions and hypotheses. The data were presented and analysed using descriptive statistics of frequency distribution analysis or inferential statistics analysis of variance (ANOVA). The study found that there is a positive significant relationship between the use of e-learning gadgets and students’ academic achievement. Based on the findings of the study, it was concluded that students’ use of e learning gadgets has significant impacts on their academic achievement.
